What did you want to be when you grew up?
An artist of some kind.
Do you remember the first story you created?
Yes, it was a hilarious take on the traditional chainsaw massacre guy. I was a macabre kid.
What were your favorite books when you were a kid?
Gregory, the Terrible Eater written by Mitchell Sharmet illustrated by Jose Aruego and Ariane Dewey was my favorite.
If you could be any children’s book character, who would you be and why?
Forgive me for being on a food tangent right now. I would be Frances in Bread and Jam for Frances written by Russell Hoban illustrated by Lillian Hoban. I am like Frances because I truly enjoy eating the same thing all the time.To be honest bread and jam sounds pretty delicious right now.

Cyan.

Austin, Texas.
Do you have any pets?
I can’t, my lease forbids it. I do however have some succulents in a bowl.
What do you like to do in your free time?
Cook, and hang out with my wonderful boyfriend and friends.
